SIVASAKTI KALÁNANDA TÁNCSZÍNHÁZ
AZ IDŐ URA / THE LORD OF TIME

Az embert az idő fogalma már ősidők óta izgatta. Sok történetben az idő és a halál azonos fogalommá válik. Indiában ő Kála, az idő és a halál, aki, mint egy komisz démon játszik az emberekkel. Megleckéztetésére, megzabolázására csak a legfelsőbb isteni erő képes: Siva. Szimbolikus mitológiai történet tehát az idő legyőzése. Kála azonban nem adja fel. Ezúttal szerelemisten formájában próbálja Siva erejét csökkenteni. Siva haragra gyúl, a harmadik szeméből kilövellő tűz elégeti a szerelem istenének testét, ám annak mesterkedése mégis eléri célját. Siva szerelmes lesz, megtalálja méltó női párját. Ereje ez által, ahelyett, hogy gyengülne, még inkább megnő. A férfi és női erő egysége helyre állítja a világ rendjét és egyensúlyát.

In many stories the notions of time and death become identical. In India, this is Kala; time and death, which plays with people like a naughty demon. Only the highest divine power, Shiva, is able to teach Kala a lesson, only Shiva is able to control Kala. This time he attempts to reduce Shiva’s powers in the form of a God of Love. Shiva flies into a rage and the fire shooting out from his third eye burns up the body of the God of Love, whose plot does work in the end. Shiva falls in love and finds his worthy female partner. But instead of losing his power, this only increases his might. The unity of male and female powers restores the balance and the order of the world.
